Support for Franchisees sets them on the road to success

X-Press Legal Services has just recently held its annual ‘Academy Roadshow’ which is all part of the support they provide for their franchise owners.

Franchisees from around the country gathered at the event at the luxury hotel Hogarth’s in Solihull where they received training and advice from experts on all manner of topics, from PR to HR.

The X-Press Legal Services franchise is a leading provider of property related searches and reports for conveyancing solicitors an essential part in the property buying process. Its 26 franchise owners are trusted by more than 500 legal practices in England and Wales.

Managing Director, Lynne Lister comments: “Since we set up the business 21 years ago, the level of professional support we offer our franchisees is central to us as a business. To enable a franchise to succeed means equipping owners with as many ‘support tools’ as possible and our X-Press Academy Roadshow aims to do just that. They’ve invested in our business, and it’s important that we invest in theirs.”

Focussing on the conveyancing sector, X-Press Legal Services’ owners met and heard from experts from a number of different fields such as marketing, human resources, training and information technology. The Coal Authority, Groundsure and HM Land Registry were just some of the big names who supported the event.

The latest X-Press Legal Services franchise owner who joined the network in September this year, Ben Wheeler said: “I can’t believe the level of support my wife Karen and I have received since joining X-Press Legal Services. Being part of a highly valued and respected company is fantastic, as is having access to a suite of professional services, both from head office and external suppliers to help us make our business a success.”

There was also plenty of networking time as well as informal ‘table talkers’ where owners had the opportunity of a Q & A session with various specialists.

X-Press Legal Services provides specialist property searches and reports to the legal sector and offers opportunities for ambitious, tech savvy people from a wide range of backgrounds to start low-risk, potentially high reward businesses. No legal experience is needed.
