Mayor Opens New Papa John’s in Shirley
Stuart Davis, Mayor of Solihull has opened a brand-new Papa John’s store located on Stretford Road in Shirley, Solihull. The store which was officially launched on 14 December 2019, now employs 20 local staff to make and delivery its top-quality pizza. On the opening day, 200 pizzas were given away customers hungry to try Papa John’s, plus further special offers are available for a limited period: including £6.99 for a large pizza collected, and buy-one-get-one-free on delivery orders.
Amit Abhol (Rana) comments: “We are really excited to have opened our new store in Shirley and thank Stuart Davis for his attendance at our opening! The store is in a great location and we anticipate welcoming a high footfall from the mixed community in the area. We have parking right outside for convenient collection plus we deliver locally too.”
Rana who joined the Company in June 2017 now runs eight Papa John’s stores. He continues: “Papa John’s top quality pizza known for its: “BETTER INGREDIENTS. Previously Rana was employed at a rival firm, based out of Northern Ireland, where he worked his way up from taking phone orders to regional operations director over 15 years. He comments: “I made the move to Papa John’s as it offered the opportunity to run multiple stores. Over the years I’ve learned this is a people business and so I am delighted to be working with our new local staff as they are certainly one of the key ingredients for our success moving forwards.”
