Shuttercraft shortlisted for a British Franchise Award

Shuttercraft has been shortlisted in the Franchisor Leadership and Culture category of the bfa HSBC British Franchise Awards 2022.

Known as the ‘Oscars’ of the franchising industry and set to take place on 24 November in Birmingham, the bfa HSBC British Franchise Awards evening is a flagship event in the franchising calendar, and finalists are definitely ones to watch.
Headquartered in Winchester, Shuttercraft keeps it their mission to understand the market like no one else.

Not only do they provide customers with bespoke made-to-order shutters, but also reassurance on the best products and exceptional service: from the expert advice provided to customers when choosing their shutters and blinds, to the quality of the survey and installation.

Clarissa Hearn, Business Support Manager at Shuttercraft, comments:

”The Shuttercraft franchise is not just about supplying quality interior plantation shutters, it’s about building a business that franchise owners can manage, develop and grow.”
Tony Reid, Head of Marketing at Shuttercraft, adds:

“We’re delighted to be shortlisted alongside some impressive names in the franchise sector – it’s a big honour for the Shuttercraft team and a recognition of the incredible work that the team puts in.”
This year saw a record number of entries for the awards, with submissions across all categories leading to an overall increase versus 2021.

Battling it out for the top spot, Shuttercraft are finalists in the Franchisor Leadership and Culture category alongside Home Instead UK, Stagecoach Performing Arts Franchising and Visiting Angels.
The Leadership and Culture category represents a passion and commitment to caring for the development, well-being and success of the brand’s employed people and their franchisee network, making it especially special to the Shuttercraft team.
Pip Wilkins, CEO of the British Franchising Association, congratulated category finalists, “This category has been particularly sought after in the past few years. As with any business, the real test on leadership and culture comes during the toughest times and I think it’s fair to say we have had a fair few of those in recent years. Huge congratulations to Shuttercraft Ltd and fellow finalists in a category that are really shining examples of what should be done to achieve change together and remain united in its goals and objectives.”
Gillian Morris, Head of Franchising, HSBC, said:

“The annual awards are a celebration of the achievements of the franchise sector, as well as the high standards of the finalists, their innovation and resilience demonstrated over the past year. We look forward to celebrating success with Shuttercraft Ltd and their team.”
