Industry-topping tenancies for Ewemove

EweMove Sales and Lettings has revealed latest figures which show its average tenancy lengths across its network to be more than double that of the UK as a whole.

The original and multi-award winning hybrid estate and lettings agency has announced average tenancy lengths of 43 months compared with the national figure of just 20 months, a statistic which Managing Director and ‘Head Shepherd’ Nick Neill puts down to the agency’s overarching, and unapologetically different, business model.

“Our entire ethos is based upon a commitment to provide our customers with the very best experience at all times, whilst also ensuring our franchisees have all of the tools they need to deliver the very best customer service,” Nick said. “And, it’s these inherent values which are seeing us achieve phenomenal and industry-leading figures such as these.

“As an agency, we’ve always prided ourselves on being daringly different, and we’ve continued to innovate and lead the way across every aspect of our business – changing and adapting our approach in order to move with evolving market trends and most importantly, our customer needs.”

Whilst many agencies have, and continue to, work on a ‘first come first served’ basis, EweMove doesn’t charge the traditional application fee, instead focusing on identifying the right tenant for the right property.  Home visits are a core element of this, with a EweMove agent arranging to see a prospective tenant at their current rented property to determine their suitability.  If a secured tenant leaves a property within 12 months, the agency also guarantees to find a new one free of charge.

“For us, it’s all about recognising that every individual is unique, which is why we’ve invested heavily in ensuring that our service is a perfect fit for everyone – whether that be the ability to book viewings online or speak to us at any time of the day/night,” Nick said. “And, this absolute dedication to the customer means that they remain happy, that they stay – and most importantly – that they look after the properties they’re in.

“From the landlord’s perspective, having a tenant remain in the property for as long as possible negates the need to pay new tenant-find fees and potential void costs, and reduces the financial outlay associated with repairs and upgrades between tenants  – providing much greater return on their investment, and the stability and security of valuable long-term relationships.”

The UK’s private rented sector is continuing to grow exponentially, with the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government recently announcing that all landlords should be offering tenancies of at least 12 months, with incentives to do so expected to be outlined later this year.

EweMove, part of the Property Franchise Group family, is the UK’s most trusted sales and letting agency based on independent reviews through Trustpilot.  The country’s first ever hybrid agency launched in 2014, it manages and sells thousands of properties across the length and breadth of the country.  EweMove prides itself on providing exceptional customer service through its network of experienced local property agents on the ground, all supported by a national operations centre and cutting-edge technology.
