Home Instead recognised for Employee Engagement

Leading home care franchise, Home Instead is celebrating being named in third place in the Health & Social Care’s 20 Best Companies to Work for List 2021.

‘The Best Companies to Work For’ lists recognise commitment to employees and the importance of employee engagement as part of a business’s success.

The accreditation has been granted to Home Instead’s National Office: a team of 77 comprising of departments including business development, care quality, IT, marketing and legal support. Together, the National Office team supports Home Instead’s 230+ franchise offices across the UK, helping them deliver quality care to their communities.

As well as being listed in the Health & Social Care list, their National Office was placed 25th (up 62 places) in the UK’s 100 Best Small Companies to Work for List and 43rd in the North West’s 100 Best Companies to Work For List.

People Director at Home Instead, Karen Dakin, said, “We are absolutely delighted to have been awarded and recognised in all three categories. At Home Instead UK, our strong values have clearly shone through and helped us achieve our people mission that Home Instead will be recognised as a forward-facing company that you aspire to work for, work with, or recommend.”

Keeping staff engaged has always been a top priority at Home Instead. Speaking about this, CEO Martin Jones said, “I’m a firm believer in keeping your team motivated and inspired, and that’s one reason why we place so much importance on employee engagement.
