Multiple award wins for Home Instead at the Home Care Awards, including top prize for team support!

The recent Home Care Awards saw Home Instead recognised in four categories. An annual celebration of home care, the awards ceremony praises the teams dedicated to ensuring people can live well at home while recognising the innovation taking place within the sector. The winners were decided by a panel of judges who are key players within the home care sector, including Jane Townson, CEO of the Homecare Association.

The judges were impressed by the outstanding level of support Home Instead provides to its 255 franchise offices. They recognise how engaged motivated and committed franchise owners are, and the key part it plays in achieving Home Instead’s mission.

Home Instead also took:

  • Marketing Expertise: The Take Care campaign raised awareness of the challenges faced by family caregivers.
  • Highly commended in the ‘Outstanding Home Care Provider’ category, recognising how Home Instead disrupted the private pay care market in the UK since its arrival in the UK in 2005.

One member of the Home Instead family received an award personally. Kate Smith, registered care manager at Home Instead Cleveland won ‘Outstanding Individual in Home Care’. Joining Home Instead eight years ago as a Care Professional, Kate moved into a senior position. She has played a key part in helping the company make significant achievements, from receiving a CQC Outstanding, to having an employee engagement score of 98%.
