Initial and ongoing training

  • Structured Onboarding: New franchise partners undergo an intensive 8-day training programme, including 2-3 days with an existing Bluebird Care franchise partner acting as a mentor to learn day-to-day operations. This is complemented by business set-up support, regulatory registration guidance, and recruitment assistance.
  • Award-Winning Training: Bluebird Care provides fully accredited training for all care professionals, covering essential topics such as safeguarding, health and safety, infection control, medication management, manual handling, and basic life support. Franchise partners also have access to specialised courses in dementia care, end-of-life care, mental health awareness, and more.
  • Ongoing Professional Development: Training is not a one-off event. Bluebird Care offers continuous professional opportunities through its accredited training academy, ensuring franchise partners and their teams remain at the forefront of best practice in care delivery.

Start-up opportunities with Bluebird Care provide you with an opportunity to build your business from the ground up. Our initial franchise fee and support package to get you started is £45,000 plus VAT.

We also recommend additional capital to set up your office space and for working capital. Your working capital is your financial buffer that keeps your business operational before it becomes reliably profitable.

Due to our strong relationship with key high street banks, you could be considered to borrow up to 70% of the total investment value. We recommend having access to around £60,000 liquid capital if you are looking to borrow.

Bluebird Care’s ongoing Franchise Fee is 6.5% of turnover invoiced each month (5% is a management fee, and 1.5% covers national marketing).

Bluebird care is a mature network where some franchise partners have been with the brand for over 10 to 15 years.
