X-Press Legal Honours Franchisees at National Conference

Property searches and report franchise X-Press Legal Services, recently celebrated the successes of its top franchisees at the company’s annual national conference.

X-Press Legal Services delivers over 400,000 specialist property searches and reports each year to conveyancing solicitors across the country.  The franchise network comes together for the conference each year to share experiences and best practice. The daytime conference is followed, in the evening, by a black tie awards dinner, where those that have produced stand-out results are honoured by their peers.

Over 100 people gathered for the ceremony in May, which took place at Rookery Hall in Cheshire. The awards for excellence were presented to the winners by directors Dave and Lynne Lister in a variety of categories including the following:

  • The company’s youngest franchisee Tom Mannion of X-Press Legal Services South West and North West London received the Business Development award for the success and growth of his business over the past year. Attendees were told how he has worked hard to establish himself within his territory and he was described by Lynne and Dave as going the extra mile to become a go-to person for niche searches within the commercial sector specialising in land and estates.
  • James and Liz Ferguson, franchisees of X-Press Legal Services Cornwall and Devon, were named as joint winners of the Brand Builder of the Year award. Dave and Lynne praised the couple for working tirelessly to promote their business and the X-Press Legal brand. Liz and James launched their own networking group and have forged fantastic links with their local Law Society. They now work with the Law Society to host regular training sessions for solicitors.
  • Russell Brown of X-Press Legal Services Greater Manchester & Cheshire was named Franchisee of the Year. He was acknowledged for working tirelessly to forge links with local Law Societies. Russell was described by the X-Press Legal directors as a true ambassador for his company and the brand.

Lynne Lister, director of X-Press Legal Services, said of the evening, “Our annual conference is always such an enjoyable occasion but this year was particularly special. So much has been achieved by so many X-Press Legal franchisees in the past year and it was wonderful to be able to offer our thanks and congratulations.”

“Ours has always been a close network. I’m proud to say that X-Press Legal franchisees are incredibly supportive of each other and it is wonderful to see that support in action when the whole X-Press Legal family gets together.”

The evening’s ‘winner’s winner’ Russell said of his achievement, “I’m truly delighted to have been named Franchisee of the Year. I have been in business for over 13 years and it has been one of the best

decisions I ever made.”
