There’s a new kind of doctor in town

There’s a new kind of doctor in town but he won’t be taking your blood pressure anytime soon.

Business Doctors

Ian Follington, trading as Business Doctors Shropshire, is testing the health of the region’s SMEs and writing prescriptions to help them to grow.

He says his brand of business healthcare will provide smaller, growing businesses with the kind of support usually only available to their larger counterparts, from business strategy to sales planning and performance management.

Ian, who has over 30 years’ business experience, co-founded his first business in Australia in 1995. This grew to a 120 strong team with a £50 million turnover. He now lives with his wife near Oswestry in Shropshire.

He said: “I am passionate about everything I get involved in and keen to roll up my sleeves and do whatever it takes to help local businesses get to the next level.”

“My approach is very hands-on and I see myself as a business practitioner rather than a consultant.”

“I want work with Shropshire SMEs to help grow their business and achieve their goals.

I’m not interested in generating lengthy reports and moving on. I enjoy getting my hands dirty and helping people to implement the, sometimes difficult, changes needed to move their businesses get to the next level.”
