The UK’s #1 kitchen makeover firm Dream Doors has just run its largest ever training course

THE UK’s #1 kitchen makeover firm Dream Doors has just run its largest ever training course.

Seven new franchisees, some with partners, have just completed the company’s intensive three-week training session.

They have learnt everything they need to know to begin running their own showrooms – with the potential to earn up to £100,000 in their second trading year.

These new franchisees include a husband and wife, brothers-in-law and a father and daughter. All but one couple have no prior experience in kitchens.

David Parr, who left his role as a director at an engineering firm to start Dream Doors Coventry and Nuneaton, said: “The training was very intensive but it has totally changed my outlook and goals. I’m now excited to be in a position to begin trading straight away. And I’ve really appreciated the help and support from everyone involved in this course.”

Dream Doors’ extensive training programme teaches newcomers everything they need to know to go out and generate business from day one.

Trainees learn how to manage their showroom, their staff and their fitters – all of which are found with the help of Dream Doors’ Business Development Managers.

They then learn how to survey kitchens and deal with customers and, in their final week, new franchisees meet key suppliers at their premises before getting to work generating sales in their respective territories.

Ed Brewer, Director of UK Sales, said: “We offer industry leading training and support. Our new state-of-the-art training centre in Hampshire, which opened just before this course, lets us replicate what our business owners will have to do in customers’ homes in a controlled learning environment.

“This is just the beginning for these new franchisees, who will benefit from our ethos of continual professional development.

“Everything we do from now on is designed to help all of our franchisees accelerate their businesses.”

There are just 19 franchise territories available nationwide, particularly in the North East, North West, Yorkshire and Scotland. Interested parties from anywhere in the UK are encouraged to contact Director of Franchise Recruitment, Alex Waite, on 02392 604630.

Dream Doors will be attending the National Franchise Exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham on October 5 and 6. Find the team on stand L60.
