Palestine Commitment to Career Development Celebrated in VIP Graduation Ceremony

Pitman Training, the UK’s most established independent training provider, is celebrating having illustrated its impact in Palestine after hosting an inaugural graduation ceremony for their students in Ramallah. The auspicious occasion saw local dignitaries celebrate the success of all Pitman graduates at the Cultural Palace in Ramallah.

Hosting over 150 guests, including both students and invited VIP dignitaries such as Educational Heads and Government Ministers, Pitman Palestine was proud to be the first in the international network to hold an official graduation ceremony, leading the way globally in terms of showcasing their students and their achievements.

There were key speeches held by Mr Nasri Barghouti, the CEO at Pitman Training Ramallah; Nicola Hoskin, the International Development Manager at Pitman Training; Government Minister Dr Hussein Al-Araj from the Higher Council for Innovation and Excellence and Mariana Amaid, who is a current Pitman student.

VIP guests included Dr. Mohammad Hawamdeh from Al-Quds Open University; Dr. Marwan Awartani from Khadouri University; and Dr. Muharam Barghouti from The Palestinian Youth Union Institute.

There was a presentation of awards and certificates to all graduates, the large majority of whom had completed Pitman English courses, but also Social Media, Marketing and Graphic Design Diplomas. There were also a large variety of students attending from different universities such as Al Quds Open University, Al Noor School, Bir Zeit University and Polytechnic University Hebron.

Nasri Barghouti said: “We were delighted to secure such a prestigious audience for this event, as attendance from government really helped boost the students, who have committed to improving their prospects and who are looking forward to playing their part in positively inputting into the local economy.
