PACK & SEND to handle the distribution of the assets of Manor F1 Racing
PACK & SEND, the UK’s largest specialist packer and international shipper headquartered in Reading, Berkshire, UK is pleased to announce that it has been appointed by business restructuring specialists Gordon Brothers to manage the secure distribution of the assets of Manor F1 Racing from their sites in Banbury, Oxfordshire.
The equipment for sale through online auction manorf1auction.com includes everything from complete car chassis to wheels, tyres and other car parts, office equipment, IT kit, engineering pieces, memorabilia and specialist pit lane equipment. The auction, which is now live, will start to close for bids from 16 May.
PACK & SEND, who have managed the logistics for several similar auction projects previously, will be packing and shipping many of the 4,000+ items for successful bidders through the sale process and some of the more notable lots include:
- Complete Formula 1 car chassis
- Manor F1 car body panels including wheels, wheel rims, steering wheels, side pods, exhausts and tail planes
- Large quantities of IT kit
- Precision engineering equipment and a bespoke test rig
- Drivers and mechanics’ equipment such as race suits, helmets, racing boots and car seats
Buyers are likely to include other motor-racing teams, associated companies and private individuals, including current and former drivers and other celebrity enthusiasts from around the world. The packing specialists will be ensuring all lots are well secured in boxes, cases or crates before managing delivery to the door for buyers – wherever they are based.
The shipments will range from single crates or cartons to full truck loads. Every lot in the auction has to been individually weighed and measured to allow PACK & SEND to provide accurate shipping estimates to bidders.
