Match Options franchisee proves age isn’t a barrier to success

At the end of 2019, Match Options franchisee, Grace Gatheru, achieved a remarkable feat. After starting her franchise operation in Southend-On-Sea, Essex, she achieved annual sales of £560,000 for the calendar year. Even more remarkable was that Grace is only 29 years old, and started her Essex based operation in October 2018 after relocating from London.

Grace studied at Manchester Metropolitan University, graduating in 2012, after studying Law. Following her graduation, Grace went on to take a Post Graduate Diploma at Preston, which she followed up with 6 years of working within the care industry to understand better how the Industry worked. Grace also spent time working for Match Options before relocating from Manchester to London to continue her business education.

In September 2018 she approached Match Options with a view to owning her own Match Options Unit, which she purchased in October of 2018.  Then just over a year later, she records annual sales in excess of £0.5Million.

At Match Options, we are proud to have people like Grace within our team, she clearly demonstrates that age is not a restriction to success…….
