Leading Fire & Security specialists open Bolton franchise

A former sales and marketing director for a global packaging firm is heading up a fire and security company’s new franchise in Bolton.

Gary Johnson, 44, has already taken on one multi-disciplined engineer and has plans for further recruitment at Jackson Fire & Security.

Its clients in the region include international wet wipe manufacturer Nice-Pak, and Gary is confident his sales and marketing background can assist with the firm’s growth in the north west.

Gary said:

“Jackson Fire & Security is well established across the north west and further afield, so the time is right to open a new franchise dedicated to customers in Bolton and the surrounding area.

“I’m looking forward to working with new and existing customers in the region and bringing the company’s expertise and support closer to them.

“Recruiting Ben Stevenson, who excels on both fire safety and security, was a key part of the plan to grow the business.

“Ben is technically strong and very customer focused, which is essentially what this firm is all about.

“With the support of our neighbouring franchises, our partners and suppliers, I have high hopes for Jackson Fire & Security in the north west.”

The new branch, based on Barcroft Street, will cover Bolton, Wigan, Skelmersdale, Bury, and Leigh. It’s the third franchise opened by the fire and security specialists in six months following on from Liverpool and Leeds.

Steve Jackson, managing director of Jackson Fire & Security, said:

“We’re thrilled to be opening another franchise in the north west, and it’s brilliant to have Gary heading up operations in the region.

“He will be a great asset to us and will play a vital role in increasing awareness of the Jackson Fire & Security brand.”

Founded in 1991, Jackson Fire & Security now has franchises in Liverpool, Leeds, Warrington, Wirral, Walsall, Mold and Cambridge.

It provides a one-call service whereby its engineers service fire and security systems, plus emergency lighting and fire extinguishers during a single visit, to save inconvenience and site attendance fees for customers.

One of the UK’s leading independent providers of fire and security systems, it is NSI gold accredited for fire and security systems. It is also partnered with Siemens to provide clients with a no false alarm guarantee fire alarm system.
