Hire a Hubby continues to expand

Mid 2015 saw an exciting turning point for Hire A Hubby UK. In July, Paul Davies joined us based in St. Neots, Cambridgeshire. Paul had previously worked as a bathroom fitter for a local company but realised that along with his other DIY skills he could build a successful business for himself.

In November 2015, Gordon Amess joined the franchise, covering Corby and much of the Northamptonshire area. Gordon had been a refrigeration engineer with a poor work/life balance regularly driving hundreds of miles a day. Gordon new he needed to make a change to his working lifestyle and by combining his experiene with his other excellent workmanship skills, Gordon’s business has quickly taken off and he is now able to organise his work around his family.

Finally, Leigh Coomansingh in Cardiff took the plunge at the beginning of 2016 by making his hobb his business. Leigh had been a Police Officer but over the years had developed strong DIY skills and was taking on more and more handyman type work for friends and family. He quickly realised that he could put these skills to better use but building his own profitable business.

Let’s hope that the momentum continues through 2016. If YOU are interested in building your own handyman business and joining our successful franchise, please get in touch today!
