First Vehicle Finance – 1st franchisee ready to launch

David Hind has recently completed the initial training with First Vehicle Finance and starts the process of launching his vehicle and asset finance business in the coming weeks.

David comes from an IT Project Management background, but a shoulder injury meant that he couldn’t drive for a couple of years so had to change careers. David is now on the road to recovery, but the time out has helped him to assess his next steps and working for himself was what he decided to do next. He investigated several home-based ideas but decided upon a franchise with First Vehicle Finance.

David is launching the First Vehicle Finance business across the Cheshire area from his Warrington home office. David choose the First Vehicle Finance franchise because it was a new franchise with plenty of available locations and focussed support. David looked at his skill set from project management such as; dealing with people on the phone and managing projects, budgets, and times. All transferable skills to working on quotations and following up with prospects and customers who are looking for vehicle and asset finance.

“Although new to being a franchisor, Richard (the founder) knows the vehicle finance sector well and has been very open and approachable during the initial meetings and research phases. I look forward to getting fully started now I’ve finished the initial training.’’
