Cleaning up: Inverness franchise wins top award

A domestic cleaning franchise in Inverness has beaten over 70 other businesses to the top award within the national franchise network it operates in.

Merry Maids of Inverness owner Bill Grant, a franchisee of ServiceMaster Limited picked up the Dallen Peterson Founders Award as a result of outstanding business growth and commitment to customer service. The award is the most prestigious within the Merry Maids network and is the pinnacle of achievement for the franchised business.

Merry Maids of Inverness has provided domestic cleaning services to residents across Inverness and Inverness-shire since 2008. Bill Grant also owns a second franchise territory in Moray, which is currently for sale. The business turns over £74,000 per year and is available to a new investor for £30,000.

Bill Grant, owner, Merry Maids of Inverness said: “This is a huge achievement for the company and is testament to the hard work of the entire team. Winners of the Dallen Peterson Founders Award receive an all-expenses paid trip to the ServiceMaster Partners Achievement Seminar in New Orleans in the US in September. Merry Maids is a franchise of ServiceMaster Limited, which was founded in the UK In 1959.
