Celia Delaney of SpeakingSuccess, to give keynote presentation at The British & International Franchise Exhibition

Budding entrepreneurs will be propelled towards their goals of business ownership and success at The British & International Franchise Exhibition at Olympia London on 9 & 10 March.

Visitors to London’s only franchise exhibition held in association with the British Franchise Association (bfa) can explore franchise opportunities across global and national brand names, as well as access a goldmine of expert industry advice.

Celia Delaney’s keynote presentation on Friday 9 March will be a highlight of The Growing Your Own Business Conference, which runs alongside the exhibition, and which focuses on ways to accelerate the growth of existing or future franchise businesses.

Founder of SpeakingSuccess, Celia has been working with franchises for more than seven years, enabling them to promote their businesses through speaking.

After reading Experimental Psychology at Oxford University, Celia went on to become HR Director of a Unilever factory site. She then trained as an actress, before deciding to combine her specialist skills in psychology, people and performance in her own training and speaking business.

SpeakingSuccess is a member of the bfa and Celia has direct experience of the franchise model, having been a successful franchisee herself. A champion of women in business, she was a speaker at the 2017 Women in Franchising forum.

Her seminar, The 5 P’s of Speaking to Promote your Business, will illustrate how the skills behind powerful public speaking translate to communicating with influence in all aspects of running a business.

Demonstrating best practice throughout her own presentation, Celia will deliver a lively and engaging session which promises to inspire as well as transfer valuable knowledge.

Celia comments: “I absolutely love franchising – I find it to be an incredibly friendly and supportive sector. I am passionate about helping franchisees leverage the power of clear and impactful communication and look forward to helping the audience hone their skills in this area. I firmly believe you can run your business more effectively when you are a more confident communicator.”

The comprehensive programme of seminars, workshops and one-to-one consultations accompanies an exhibition boasting franchises across all investment levels and sectors, including food and beverage, fitness, care and business-to-business.  All exhibiting brands have been accredited by the bfa and names include McDonald’s, Award Leisure, The Creation Station, CeX and Dyno.

The British & International Franchise Exhibition offers a valuable one-stop platform from which to gather key advice and to perform essential research into all aspects of franchising.
