Barbers Box from Ego X – Instant Business in a Box

Special Feature

Robin Langley has a perfectly formed, tried and tested business for barbers to take away; just add your skills and an affordable investment and you’re good to go! Robin Langley said:

The Barbers Box franchise allows you to be your own boss but not being by yourself and having the freedom to take your business to your clients!”

They say when opportunity meets preparation the result is success and Barbers Box is a great example. Robin Langley has created a mobile barber business that will give barbers a new way to earn. He says, “I have traditional barber shops offering great services with all the trimmings. Robin has been friends with Ifor Williams family for nearly 20 years. Ifor Williams are a leading manufacturer of trailers and through a chance conversation I hit on the idea of creating a business in a box!

“Rising rents and diminishing High Street footfall means that small businesses like ours suffer and that can be a massive barrier to anyone starting their own.

Barbers Box makes an authentic barber shop experience mobile. Suddenly it opens up a whole new world of opportunities. Shopping precincts, trading estates, supermarket car parks, out-of-town retail parks, music festivals, farmers markets…the list goes on.”

Robin spent over a year working with Ifor Williams’ talented engineers and designers. The Barbers Box has been finished with the highest spec and to a superior standard. He’s personally road tested every detail and customers are happy to pay the £10 per haircut.

The 10 square metre space feels like a static shop with two well-spaced chairs and a waiting area where three people can sit comfortably.

Every detail has been worked through from both the perspective of the professional and the customer. It’s a turnkey approach that puts barbers in charge of their own destiny from £7950. A sum far smaller than fitting out the smallest of shops.
