Craig Norford, Trulawn Leeds South East

Craig, centreCraig (pictured centre) launched Trulawn Leeds South East in 2020, covering the North, East and South of Central Leeds and the surrounding area to the South East.

Craig comes from a property management and grounds-keeping background. Having worked for hotels and golf courses in his early career, he was exposed to the benefits of artificial grass many years ago when it was a relatively new product.

After his local council took over the golf course he was running he was offered a position with them covering the management of various grounds around the city. He eventually grew to manage three teams of staff of around 50 people. During which time he developed experience with the varying facets of successful management and his confidence as a leader rose.

Craig first considered starting an artificial grass business in 2004 but there were no franchises offering this product at the time, and he didn’t feel he had the experience to go it alone.

Fifteen years later and the itch to run his own business had not gone away. Still having the confidence in the product that he had seen the potential in all those years before, he started looking online for artificial grass franchises.
