Mike Chalton

Mike likes a challenge and back in January 2007, he was one of the first franchisees to join Home Instead, a franchise that was pioneering and disrupting the social care sector by bringing home care to the UK. 

Since that leap of faith, Mike and his wife Catherine, have built a substantial business, they have a tremendous partnership focused on their desire to provide a quality service that enhances the lives of their clients, their employees and their community.

In his early career, Mike had extensive managerial experience in healthcare, working for GlaxoSmithKline in specialist sales and then in business development for Sanofi, two of the world’s largest pharmaceutical firms. He is a role model for many; not only for growing their business from zero to a multi-million-pound turnover but for how he has devoted much of his time and knowledge to supporting so many people into franchising and beyond, sharing the key to becoming a multi-unit franchisee.
