Lemonade by LEMONICA was first created in 2012 in Kanazawa in Japan. The owner Seiji Kawamura spent several years perfecting the drink recipe with the LEMONICA team in his home town and finally opened his first store in Kanazawa in 2017.

It didn’t take long before considerable queues formed outside the store as the drink grew in popularity. Kawamura decided to launch a partnership franchise model so that LEMONICA could quickly expand across Japan.

Fast forward a few years to today and now there are almost 100 LEMONICA lemonade shops across Japan. We are looking to expand the business overseas and from summer 2022 you’ll be able to sample our unique product at our London store.
