Franchisee - O2 and Clip 'n Climb

At 19, Stephen set up his first business developing his humble paper round into a distribution and promotion business delivering 78,000 items a month. Soon after this, he set up a printing business to produce the printed material for delivery.

After completing a Masters in professional development, Stephen has gone on to manage multiple businesses at the one time. Large scale event management, property development, TV and film safety coordination are among these other businesses that span his career.

One consistent interest over the last 30 years has been the Belfast Activity Centre, which is a personal development children’s charity providing outdoor experiential learning opportunities. His passion for charitable work gained him the British Junior Chambers Young Person of the Year award and led to his promotion as CEO of the charity.

Currently, he owns Escapade HQ, an Escape room business, along with the first Clip n Climb centre in Ireland. 

Over the last 10 years, Stephen and his business partner Nigel, have developed one of the most successful O2 franchise groups in the UK. For the second time in 2018, they have won franchisee’s of the year along with SMB retailer of the year.
