LIME ORCHARD : AN INNOVATIVE FAMILY AFFAIR!
Lime Orchard - the 'one stop' garden transformation franchise launched this April by former Scenic Blue founder Judy Behl - is underpinning its refreshing approach to business by implementing an exciting new marketing initiative. Judy, the brainchild behind the development of the UK's first landscape franchise (which she later sold to Marshalls plc) is renown for her ability to spot new business opportunities and is hitting the landscaping sector with yet another "first" with the roll out of the Lime Orchard National Direct Sales team (a marketing practice largely unheard of in the landscaping community).
The four-strong National Direct Sales team will be responsible for raising awareness of the benefits of the Lime Orchard service, both to reputable garden centres looking to extend their portfolio of services by offering a complete design and build offering to their customers, as well as to potential end users. The requirement for pubs to offer attractive outdoor rooms in the light of the recent smoking ban makes them another natural priority for new business, as well as schools which are increasingly being encouraged to appreciate the educational benefits of a school garden. The sales team will be implementing a variety of tactics including leafleting, telesales, presence at key consumer / trade events to identify suitable customers likely to be receptive to the Lime Orchard garden transformation service. And to retain the company's commitment to the delivery of a highly personalised service three of the four recruits are all family members (Judy's three nephews). In keeping with the brand's innovative thinking, Lime Orchard will stay in touch with its young dynamic Direct Sales team, via the Lime Orchard community on social networking web site Facebook.
