Suzie McCafferty QFP, is the CEO of Platinum Wave Franchising – an international, independent – BFA accredited franchise consultancy firm, established in 2008.

With over 25 years of hands-on global franchising experience, Suzie is one of the most respected names in the industry.

Her franchising journey began with scaling her own retail business from a single Edinburgh shop to 70 outlets across six countries. She later led a £30m national recruitment franchise before launching Platinum Wave, where she has spent 17 years advising some of the world’s top franchise brands on growth, recruitment, and international expansion.

Suzie chairs the bfa’s Advisor & Supplier Forum, has been a judge for all the major franchise awards, and Non-Executive Director for several leading brands. Her consultancy has won multiple accolades, including recognition from the bfa, the Best Franchise Awards, and the European Franchise Federation. Her real-world experience gives her consultancy and mentoring a depth of insight few can match.
