Duncan Attwood brings over two decades of senior operational and commercial experience in health, fitness, and hospitality to his role as a multi-site fit20 franchisee.
After graduating with a BSc in Health and Physical Recreation from Liverpool and an MSc in Management from Loughborough, Duncan began his career at Morrisons before moving into the health and leisure sector with roles at David Lloyd Leisure and Bannatyne Fitness, where he managed multiple sites simultaneously.
In 2018 Duncan launched his own business, buying into the fit20 franchise. His Exeter studio opened in January 2019, Torquay followed in August 2024, and a third location is currently in development.
Duncan will share his experience of scaling a people-centred franchise model from solo operator to multi-site owner and the practical realities of growth, team building, and maintaining service quality across locations.
