Cath Chalton

Cath Chalton is an award-winning multi-unit franchisee with Home Instead, celebrated for her strategic leadership and passionate commitment to high-quality home care. Since launching her first Home Instead office in Wirral in 2007, Cath has expanded to operate three franchises Wirral North, Wirral South, Liverpool South and Chester. She employs around 300 people across Cheshire and Merseyside and delivers nearly two million hours of care.

Cath’s expertise and dedication have guided her franchises to “Outstanding” ratings by the CQC, positioning her sites as market leaders in person-centred care. Her approach centres on staff empowerment, career progression, and building a culture of excellence – over 90% of her core team have advanced from within the organisation. She actively mentors other franchisees, shares best practices across the sector, and represents Home Instead on both the British Franchise Association and European Franchise Federation boards.
