Simon Wallis is said to have pizza sauce running through his veins. With roles in franchise facing brands such as Pizza Hut and Papa John’s, before joining Domino’s UK/ROI as Sales and Marketing Director, going on to become Chief Operating Officer, and now International Managing Director. Prior to that, Simon has worked in a number of food marketing roles, at YUM Restaurants in KFC UK, and at United Biscuits overseeing the McVitie’s brand.
At Domino’s, in partnership with who he credits as being “the best franchisees anywhere in the world”, he has overseen a period of rapid growth, helping Domino’s become the number one pizza company in the UK. He has helped transition the business from a traditional bricks & mortar company to a genuine omni channel retailer, overseen a period of record store openings, positioned the brand confidently as the official food of everything, and significantly improved the customer experience through a variety of menu and operational initiatives.
