For many years Shane ran a business which operated a number of filling stations, convenience stores and food outlets.
The busy grew to over 70 operating locations with revenues of ove £250m operating various brands including Subway, Costa and Gregg's amongst others.
The focus for the business was to improve the forecourt and roadside offering to provide modern branded facilities for our customers.
The business was sold in late 2018 and Shane now operates an investment vehicle, SilverClock Capital, which focuses on European and US Tech, Healthcare as well the F&B sector.
Our Tech and healthcare investments include many software, AI and fintech businesses.
An example of an investment within the F&B sector included the Love Corn brand, a fast growing Gluten Free, GMO Free and vegan snacking brand with various flavours. Love Corn has grown in two years to be a leader in the category both in the UK and US, listed in Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda, Wal Mart, Wholefood, CVS, American Airlines and Virgin Atlantic amongst others.
We also hold a number of investments in the alcoholic beverage market.
We continue to seek opportunities in all areas of our specialities with a focus to find great branded F&B brands and consider scalable opportunities withing the QSR and Coffee market through acquisition opportunities.
