Richard Dening-Smitherman joined Burger King UK when Bridgepoint bought the master licence in 2017. In his role as COO, he is responsible for over 500 franchised and company-owned restaurants, as well as the Central Operations Excellence Team which is focused on growing and evolving the Burger King brand in the UK.
Richard brings a wealth of experience about developing F&B concepts, having worked with Waitrose in the UK and international brands including Nando’s and Dean and Deluca in the Middle East.
