John Farnsworth, Partner at accountancy and business advisory firm, Smith Cooper, leads the award-winning Corporate Finance division. He has 20 years of experience as a Corporate Finance specialist, both at Smith Cooper and, prior to that, at KPMG.
John is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and holds the Corporate Finance qualification of the Institute, widely recognised as the global standard for Corporate Financiers.
John project-manages acquisitions, management buy-outs, mergers and sales for mid-corporate and owner-managed businesses and also provides succession planning advice, valuations and assistance with business planning and fundraising.
John has a UK-wide specialism in the food and drink sectors, particularly in franchising. He has successfully advised on over 50 assignments both nationally and internationally involving international brands such as KFC, Costa, Domino’s, Starbucks and Pizza Hut Delivery.
