TWO MEN AND A TRUCK in Top 50 multi-unit franchises for 2015

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® has been named as one of the top 50 franchises by Franchise Business Review. The magazine surveyed 6,000 franchisees from more than 300 brands in the USA and TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® was among the leaders based on having the most satisfied multi-unit operators.

The franchisor, which now has territories available across the UK, was also among the top 25 service opportunities.

Colm Hefferon at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® was delighted to hear the news, commenting: “What started as an after-school business for two high school boys in the 1980s has now grown to more than 300 profitable franchises in USA, Canada, Ireland and UK. Being listed among the top franchises with the most satisfied multi-unit operators is testament to the fact that the core values of the company have remained strong throughout the entire franchise system.”

Although relatively new to the UK, the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® system has transferred well and the network is growing steadily with figures showing that franchisees over this side of the Atlantic are matching the performance benchmarks of the start-ups in the US. This growth is continuing with the latest UK franchise owner recently completing their USA based training element and is getting stuck into the UK element and launching soon.

Following its survey of franchisees, Franchise Business Review outlined what it takes to be a multi-unit franchise leader, including the having right mindset and financial components, as well as finding the right team members to assist in running the different locations. Adding to this, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® President Randy Shacka was featured, emphasising that one of the most important factors is understanding the culture of the franchise company you are joining and ensuring it coincides with your personal growth goals.
