Trophy Pet Foods announce franchisee award winners at their annual conference
On Monday 8th February 2016 Trophy held their annual franchisee conference. This annual conference is all about celebrating our achievements, talking about our plans for the forthcoming year and handing out our franchisee awards to our top achievers across a variety of platforms. This year’s celebrations were full of humour and around 50 of our franchisees enjoyed a delicious sit down lunch, with a variety of guests.
The day started with presentations from Trophy resident expert Sue Reid with a review of the past year, looking at pet industry trends and the launch of a new CMS system for all Trophy franchisees. There were also presentations on our social media strategy, a new Trophy Customer Pet Photo Competition, as well as a new Trophy wet cat food range. Our franchisee guest speakers gave informative and inspiring speeches on what works for them in their areas, allowing the newer of our franchisees to go home with some good ideas. This shared best practice is what makes the Trophy franchise system so unique.
Dr John Lowe, the Trophy Nutritionist, gave a thrilling lecture on busting pet food myths as well as launching the new nutritional qualification for all our franchisees. It was a very informing speech and our franchisees are looking forward to becoming qualified with an independently certified CPD in pet nutrition and UK pet food legislation. This nutritional qualification enhances the in house training provided by Trophy and will allow our franchisees to offer a more professional, dedicated service to their customers.
