Spoton.net celebrate 5th Birthday at the 2013 National Conference
This year’s Spoton.net conference got underway recently but it was an extra special occasion as it also marked 5 years since the website and internet marketing company became a franchise.
Spoton.net franchisees travelled from all across the country to meet at the Windmill Village Hotel in Coventry. Many joined the Head Office team on Sunday evening for a celebratory dinner. After a night of good food, laughter, relationship building and the odd game of pool! It was down to business on Monday morning.
The day was kicked off on a very positive note with Jo Campbell (Managing Director) sharing strong growth figures for the year to date. Following a performance review of the year so far, franchisees were then given a preview of each of the Departmental business plans for 2014. These included the unveiling of new website developments and additional business development tools being rolled out to all franchisees to maximise their business success.
One of the highlights of the day was a motivational talk from Brad Burton – the highly charismatic Managing Director of 4Networking. After being fired up by Brad and having enjoying some Birthday Cake, the best performing franchisees were put on the spot in a session called ‘Ask The Panel. Other franchisees had the opportunity to quiz these franchisees about how they have reached the level of success they are currently enjoying. Before the day came to a close, awards were then given out to mark some exceptional performances, including an award for the ‘Best Performing New Franchisee’ and the franchisee with the ‘Best Client Retention Rate.
The day proved to be a real success and highly beneficial for franchisees. Spoton.net franchisee Phil Revill said “it was a really good day – so good to share experiences with other franchisees, to pick up business development tips and to get some encouragement
The day was also extremely beneficial for Head Office as Joanne Campbell (Spoton.net Managing Director) testified “These events are vital for us to develop our relationship with franchisees. The conference generated many ideas, not only for franchisees as they shared best practices, but also suggestions that the Head Office team can take away and review to ensure we are continually adapting to change in the marketplace and offering maximum support to our franchisees
