Sandler Training unveils new industry-leading online platform

Sales and business consultancy franchise Sandler Training has released a new online platform which is set to revolutionise the way its franchisees and clients access its world-class resources and materials.

The business, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, is proving its ability to stay ahead of the competition with the unique system, “the only one of its kind in the sales training industry”.

The multimedia system provides instant access anywhere in the world to the complete suite of Sandler’s resources and materials, from videos, podcasts, and event recordings to books, guides and accredited training. Franchisees have everything they need, whatever the situation and whoever they’re with; while clients have a comprehensive digital home for all of their training and techniques.

It is the brand’s second substantial investment in technology in recent months, following hot on the heels of a new streaming webinar system that’s already having a big impact for franchisees.

Fiona Thomson, Sandler Training UK operations director, said: “None of our competitors have a system like this, there’s nothing like it in the industry. The smaller SME consultants or one-man bands couldn’t invest in this kind of thing, and the larger organisations have nothing like it at all. They have online platforms but nothing as modern, instant and sophisticated as this.”

Multilingual and operating across all devices, the online learning management system (LMS) receives regular updates of new material while also allowing franchisees and clients to record their own materials straight onto the platform – invaluable for modern training and instant feedback.

Fiona explained: “Where previously we might train a client on how to do a 30-second commercial, we can now say, ‘Click here and watch some examples, or put in your own version’. As you’re teaching a particular technique, they’ll be able to adapt it to their industry on-the-go and put it straight into their phone, with a record of what they’ve learned and a tool to use immediately.”

The impact on franchisee growth is expected to be significant, for both established franchisees and newcomers alike.

Fiona said: “Not only do franchisees have the different materials that they’re assigning to their clients, but they have everything they need with them at all times – all our previous conferences, a toolbox of video clips and how-to guides, training exercises, client reports, an admin portal, extra resources for their clients.

“It means new franchisees will get up to speed very much faster. It contains everything they need to deliver exceptional client service, win new business and grow their franchise. Imagine being able to instantly search for and produce whatever a client needs in seconds, and the impact that will have on business development? For new and existing franchisees, we can say, ‘This is your comprehensive solution – and nobody else has anything like it’.”

She added: “It’s very multi-faceted and can be used by franchisees in different ways according to their client base, something that’s very important to Sandler. We encourage our franchisees to run their business their way, maximising their background and skill set, and the platform is the perfect illustration of that.
