Right at Home awarded national 5* Employer status for second year running

Leading UK homecare provider Right at Home has been awarded national 5* Employer status across its network of 60+ locally owned and operated offices.

The business was named a 5* Employer for the second year running, following its annual employee engagement survey, run by independent researcher WorkBuzz. More than 1,200 CareGivers completed the anonymised survey across the Right at Home network.

Right at Home is the most highly-rated national homecare agency on the UK’s leading independent review site, homecare.co.uk. The company provides clients with a wide range of services, delivered in the comfortable surroundings of their own home, from companionship and personal care through to meal preparation, running errands, specialist dementia care and full-time live-in care.

Right at Home UK CEO, Ken Deary, said: “To hear that we have retained our national 5* Employer award and achieved this external recognition is a great boost for our network, particularly during these challenging times.

“We want our CareGivers to feel cared for and supported in the same way that they care for others in our communities and by taking part in this survey annually, we are showing our commitment to continuous improvement.

“For our CareGivers, it’s also been wonderful to hear the positive comments received from our clients and their families as part of our annual client satisfaction survey. This serves as a very timely reminder of what a vital job they are doing to support our clients to remain living safely in the comfortable and familiar surroundings of their own home.”

Steven Frost, CEO of WorkBuzz, commented: “At WorkBuzz, we’re passionate about improving people’s working lives. We created this award to recognise the best workplace cultures where employees are proud to work, are motivated to do more, and want to stay for the foreseeable future. We love working with Right at Home who truly care about their employee’s experience and have worked hard to ensure they create a culture where their people can thrive.”

In addition, almost 50% of the Right at Home offices that took part in the survey were awarded local 5* employer recognition, which is achieved by gaining an engagement score of 90 or above.
