New TaxAssist Shop opens in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk

Business couple Eliott Betts and Lili Huang have launched TaxAssist Accountants offering a dedicated service to support small businesses on Northgate Street, Bury St Edmunds.

With over 30 years between them working in the finance sector, accountants Eliott and his wife Lili decided it was time to use their joint experience to benefit small businesses in and around Bury St Edmunds.

Eliott, who is an associate member of the Institute of Financial Accountants, said: “Having worked in and with large companies both in the UK and abroad, it’s always been our passion to help small businesses succeed and, with the support of TaxAssist Accountants, we’re confident we can do just that.

“The shop is in a great location with plenty of free parking nearby, making it accessible for small business owners in and around Bury St Edmunds. We’re planning an official opening event in the next few months to meet our neighbours and begin networking within the small business community.”

Lili, who has a Double Major in Accounting and Finance, comments:

“Both myself and Eliott have worked in the accountancy and financial services sector for many years and it’s great to draw on the experience and skills we’ve acquired to help small businesses in the area. We have big plans for the business and will be looking to recruit staff in the near future.”

TaxAssist Accountants Bury St Edmunds, which specialises in providing accountancy services, tax returns, payroll, bookkeeping, tax savings and tax advice to small businesses, opened in June 2017.
