Karina Brown, owner of Home Instead Bromley, Chislehurst & Orpington, has been named a winner of the 2024 Great British Franchisee Awards, having been recognised for her exceptional dedication to dementia care, community involvement, and commitment to team development.

The Great British Franchisee Awards celebrate business owners who excel in areas like business stability, client satisfaction, community engagement, and leadership.

Suzanne Melville, from Which Franchise, explains why they were so impressed: “What an amazing franchisee Karina is! Not only has she built a great team around her that she values, and they value her, but she consistently looks for new ways to innovate and add new services in order to benefit her clients.

“The judges were particularly impressed by Karina’s passion and her plans to expand her franchise territory, demonstrating her determination to support more people who require Home Instead’s support, and her commitment to the brand”.

Karina commented: “I am incredibly proud to have been awarded with this accolade. It’s a huge testament to my amazing team and the outstanding work they do in supporting those in our local community. Our values are professionalism, integrity, kindness, equality and a desire to make later years as enjoyable as possible for each of our clients, so being recognised for the work we do to make that possible, is such an amazing achievement!”.
