Home Instead shortlisted for three national care awards

Home care franchise, Home Instead Senior Care is delighted to be shortlisted for three prestigious national awards at this year’s LaingBuisson Awards which recognise outstanding achievement and excellence within the health and social care sectors.

Home Instead has been named a finalist in the Homecare category which recognises ‘excellence in the provision of personal care or healthcare in the home setting’. They are also shortlisted in the Public Private Partnership category. This was for the innovative collaboration between their local franchise offices in Exeter & East Devon and Cheltenham which was developed to reduce falls-related hospital admissions.

They are also particularly proud to be shortlisted in a special category, introduced this year, for ‘Outstanding response to Covid in social care’. This category looks to celebrate examples of strong culture delivering better care, excellent communication, early responses, adapting to and overcoming challenges during the pandemic including the turnaround of a challenging situation in social care.

The awards received over 400 entries and Home Instead is honoured to have been named as finalists in these categories.

Martin Jones, CEO of Home Instead, said: “As ever, these nominations bear testament to our commitment to delivering outstanding care and the pursuit of our company mission which is to change the face of ageing.

“We have a passionate national office team, an amazing network of over 217 franchise owners, dedicated key players and compassionate CAREGivers, all of whom share our vision and values and who, as a result, provide truly exceptional care.

“My thanks go to them for the work they do – these awards would really not be possible without their efforts.”
