Home Instead leads the way with 50 ‘outstanding’ ratings

Home Instead Senior Care is delighted to announce that they have received their fiftieth ‘outstanding’ rating, the highest rating available, from the independent regulator of health and social care services in England, the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

This milestone has been achieved by their Wirral office which is owned and run by husband and wife team, Mike and Cath Chalton.

This accolade has only been possible because the whole Home Instead network shares one vision. They are very careful to select franchisees who share their passion to change the face of ageing and who demonstrate strong business acumen.

Franchisees benefit from a National Office team of 55, giving them an industry-leading 4:1 support ratio with experts spanning Business Development, Care Quality, IT and Marketing. This support ensures that franchisees follow a care model which is proven to deliver outstanding outcomes for clients and they develop successful businesses as a result.

And it’s working; Home Instead holds more CQC outstanding ratings than any other home care company. An impressive 25% of the Home Instead network in England now boast this ‘outstanding’ accreditation – compared to just 3% of all home care providers in England.

Kate Terroni, Chief Inspector of Adult Social Care at the Care Quality Commission, said: “I would like to congratulate everyone at Home Instead on the fantastic achievement of having 50 offices rated outstanding. Our inspections have consistently shown that people who use their services receive exceptional personalised care from a well led team.

“We want everybody to have access to the best possible care and will continue to support providers to share best practice, ensuring that more people across the country are able to access the highest quality care.”

Martin Jones, CEO of Home Instead Senior Care comments: “Congratulations to Cath, Mike and their whole team for securing our latest CQC outstanding rating. It is a brilliant accolade.

“To reach fifty CQC outstanding ratings across the network is testament to the fantastic work that is carried out by our amazing CAREGivers and teams. Each and every day our CAREGivers are touching the lives of older people, helping them to live well at home for longer and helping in our mission to help change the face of ageing in the UK.”

Home Instead Senior Care franchisees put older people at the heart of everything they do. They support their clients to retain their independence by providing flexible, home-based services and companionship.
