Home Instead Franchisee Recognised as One of the UK’s Best in National Award

Home Instead franchise owner, Leena Lakhani, who operates Home Instead Ealing and Wembley has been named a winner in the Great British Franchisee Awards 2025, a national recognition that celebrates the UK’s most successful and inspiring franchise business owners.

The awards, run by WhichFranchise, celebrate franchisees who excel across all areas of business management, from leadership and team development to profitability, customer satisfaction and community engagement.

Leena was recognised for her exceptional leadership, strong financial performance and commitment to business growth. Judges praised her innovative approach, investment in her team, and proven ability to operate and expand across multiple territories.

Having joined Home Instead over nine years ago, Leena has grown her Wembley franchise into a thriving, sustainable business before expanding into Ealing in 2024, demonstrating the scalability and strength of the Home Instead model.

After a successful career as a solicitor, Leena chose to invest in franchising to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. Today, she’s known throughout the Home Instead network for her strategic mindset, values-led leadership, and dedication to providing outstanding care to older adults in her community.

Suzanne Melville, from WhichFranchise, commented: “Leena is an outstanding example of what makes a Great British Franchisee. Her leadership is driven by compassion and values, and she’s built a team that truly reflects that. The judges were particularly impressed by her commitment to expanding services and her dedication to supporting both her clients and her Care Professionals.”

Speaking about the recognition, Leena said: “I’m incredibly honoured to receive this award. It’s a reflection of the amazing work our team does every day to support older adults in our community. We believe everyone deserves to age with dignity, and we’re proud to make that possible through personalised, compassionate care.”

With a growing presence in North-West and West London, Leena continues to scale her multi-unit operation, providing award-winning home care, live-in care, and companionship services, while showcasing the power of Home Instead’s proven franchise model to deliver both commercial success and social impact.
