Girl Power the key to awards success for Magical Maths

A Harborough based, multi-award winning franchise is looking to add to their jam-packed trophy cabinet after dominating the nominations at this year’s ‘Encouraging Women Into Franchising’ awards.

Educational company Magical Maths were said to be ‘brimming with pride’ after being announced as finalists in not one…not two…but three separate categories at the upcoming ceremony.

It’s absolutely amazing to be up for three different categories. “

Jenni Bradford, Co-Director at Magical Maths and Finalist for ‘New Woman Franchisor of the Year’ says “It’s absolutely amazing to be up for three different categories. The awards are entered by the best of the best in the franchise world, and anyone would be thrilled to be nominated just once let alone three times.” It comes on the back of last year’s awards when Ms Bradford won the same category. “I’m genuinely honoured to have been given the opportunity to attend the awards for the second consecutive year” she added.

The other finalists at Magical Maths include Sarah Mayhew, the Area Manager for four separate counties in the UK, who is up for “Woman Franchise Employee of the Year”. The third finalist came in the form of Claire Roberts, Franchise Owner in Staffordshire, who is up for the “Young Woman in Franchising” gong.

Magical Maths have won numerous awards in recent years including several from the Chartered Institute of Marketing and “Young Entrepreneur of the Year” for the last two years at the highly coveted “National Entrepreneur Awards”. They were also recently named as one of three finalists in the “Franchise Marketing Awards 2016” organised by the British Franchise Association.

“I can’t wait for the awards evening.” said Ms Mayhew, who is up for her first business award. “It will be amazing to share the day with my colleagues. I’ll be taking my family with me too which will be really nice.”

Magical Maths are the UK’s best educational company dedicated to making maths fun for primary students. They have 33 franchisees across the UK as well as several area managers who help over 20,000 students each year to get more engaged with their mathematics. The Encouraging Women Into Franchising Awards will take place in London on 24th May.
