Damp proofing company Prokil offers franchise opportunity
An independent damp-proofing and building company is franchising their business and offering franchisees based across the UK the opportunity to benefit from fully-funded training and the chance to obtain a nationally recognised qualification, with all examinations paid for.
Dorset-based Prokil has committed to providing up to three months of training for all signed up franchisees, with travelling and accommodation expenses covered. The first month will be based at their head office in Bournemouth working with qualified Prokil surveyors to learn the trade.
On completion of the training stage, franchisees will return to their selected areas throughout the UK to launch their business, with Prokil providing all materials, equipment and ongoing support including marketing and business development assistance for the first three months of trading. Continued advice and guidance on marketing techniques to raise awareness of the new franchise in each territory will be provided by Prokil’s marketing partner.During the first year, all franchisees will be required to complete the Certificated Surveyor in Remedial Treatments course, which will result in them gaining a nationally recognised qualification to become a specialist damp and timber surveyor.
“With more extreme weather and an increase in flooding and storms sweeping the country on a regular basis, the business opportunities for Prokil franchisees are ever-increasing” remarked Carlo Marsango, Managing Director of Prokil.
“We took the decision to franchise the business after expanding into other areas including Brighton and Reading and witnessing the overwhelming demand for our services. We know the opportunities are out there and are keen to hear from ambitious and hardworking individuals looking to manage and grow their own business with our full support, expertise and experience, all using the well-established Prokil brand and reputation.”
Established for over fifty years, Prokil specialises in diagnosing and treating damp and timber decay in both domestic and commercial properties. Their engineers and surveyors undergo rigorous training and are fully qualified specialists in their field.
