Celebrating Two Decades of Exceptional Care

Home instead celebrating two decades

In 2025, Home Instead marked a major milestone: 20 years of delivering outstanding home care across the UK. To honour this achievement, earlier this month they brought together their national office team, franchisees from across the network and their valued key players from every corner of the country for a truly special anniversary celebration at the iconic Grosvenor House London.

For twenty years, Home Instead’s franchise network has been united by a shared purpose – to provide compassionate, relationship-led care that enables people to live well at home. What began as a vision has grown into a nationwide community of dedicated franchise offices, Care Professionals and support teams, all working together to raise standards and redefine what home care can be.

Home Instead’s anniversary event was an opportunity not only to celebrate commercial success, but to recognise the strength of the network. The collaboration, knowledge-sharing and mutual support between franchisees is what drives Home Instead’s continued growth and ensures they consistently deliver exceptional outcomes for clients and their families.

Throughout the evening, Home Instead reflected on the stories that have shaped their journey, from early beginnings to becoming one of the UK’s most trusted home care franchise networks. Just as importantly, it was a time to look ahead, reaffirming their commitment to meeting the evolving needs of an ageing population and championing greater awareness and understanding of high-quality home care.

Recognising Excellence Across a Network

At the heart of Home Instead’s success are their incredible Care Professionals. Their compassion, dedication and professionalism make a life-changing difference every single day.

A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Home Instead Care Professional of the Year award, celebrating an individual whose passion and commitment truly embodies the brand’s values. The winner was Gail Colby, from Home Instead’s Norwich office, whose drive to deliver outstanding care to her clients, and to support the wider local community stood out among so many inspiring nominations from across the UK.

This award is a testament not only to individual excellence, but to the culture of care nurtured throughout the franchise network.

A Night to Remember

The evening combined reflection with celebration. Hosted by the brilliant Joel Dommett, the event was filled with warmth, laughter and a few unforgettable surprises, including a special guest appearance and performance from Jason Donovan.

There was also a spectacular performance from the cast of The Lion King, bringing the energy and vibrancy befitting such a landmark occasion.

Looking Ahead

While the evening marked 20 years of achievement, it also signalled the beginning of Home Instead’s next chapter. With a strong, values-driven franchise network, an unwavering commitment to quality and Care Professionals who go above and beyond every day, Home Instead is excited about the opportunities ahead.
