Caremark MD Nominated for Prestigious Sussex Business Award

The Grand Hotel, Brighton was the venue for the 26th annual Sussex Business Awards with some 44 companies representing the best in business across Sussex.

Finalists from a wide range of businesses gathered in the hope of scooping a top business award from within the 15 categories.

Amongst them this year was first time entrant Anne O’Rourke (pictured), Managing Director of Caremark Limited, a national home care franchisor with its Head Office based in Worthing, West Sussex.

Ms O’Rourke impressed the judges with her business acumen, skills and the huge difference she made to the business during the last 12 months.

The panel of judges described her as ‘organised and extremely impressive’. Her considerable business acumen has enabled the company to achieve phenomenal growth in the last two years.

Although not a winner on the night, her selection as a finalist for this sought after award is testimony to the strength of her professionalism, dedication and proven results in driving Caremark’s business to increasing levels of success, making it one of the top players in the Care sector.

The company is no stranger to awards: its Buckinghamshire franchisee scooped two major franchising awards in 2013 and another was nominated as a finalist for the same awards this year, while Caremark’s National Training Manager, Lynda Goldsmith took two industry awards in 2014 for Learning & Training of home care staff.

Caremark deliver bespoke care and support services to vulnerable people of all ages, abilities and ethnicities via a franchised network of offices operating throughout the UK, enabling people to remain living safely and independently at home.
