Business excellence takes centre stage at BizX 2026: winning hearts and minds

BizX awards 2026

The BizX 2026 awards brought together some of the most accomplished business leaders from across the UK for an evening celebrating innovation, growth and entrepreneurial success. Hosted by broadcasting royalty Kirsty Gallacher, the event formed a highlight of the annual BizX conference.

This year’s event was proudly supported by lead sponsor Santander in partnership with Worldpay, now Global Payments, reflecting a shared commitment to championing ambitious businesses.

Now in its 15th year, the inspiring three-day BizX conference and awards ceremony took place at the ICC Wales, welcoming more than 1,000 entrepreneurs, business owners and leaders. Delivered by ActionCOACH, the world’s leading business coaching firm, BizX continues to provide a powerful platform for education, connection and recognition.

Across the three days, attendees gained valuable insights from an exceptional line-up of keynote speakers, including The Apprentice’s Tim Campbell MBE, advertising expert Rory Sutherland and Dragons’ Den’s Sara Davies MBE. The programme combined inspiring talks with practical workshops and networking opportunities, equipping delegates with actionable strategies to drive their businesses forward.

Julie Wagstaff, Managing Director of ActionCOACH UK, commented:

“BizX continues to grow in both scale and calibre each year. It’s a privilege to recognise and celebrate the remarkable accomplishments of businesses that demonstrate such creativity, resilience and leadership. Congratulations to all of this year’s winners and finalists for raising the bar once again.”

The awards recognised businesses that have demonstrated outstanding performance, innovation and community impact, with judges highlighting the exceptional quality and diversity of entries across all categories. This year’s winners showcased not only strong commercial success, but also a clear commitment to their teams, customers and communities.

For Anna Fletcher, who moved to the UK 20 years ago from Poland with a dream to start her own business and make a difference, the award for CEO of the Year was entirely unexpected:

“For me, leadership is about creating the conditions for people to thrive – and this award is a meaningful recognition of that approach.”

“BizX has always been about real, practical takeaways as much as it is about recognition,” added Julie. “If more business owners leave feeling inspired to push themselves further or share their story next year with an award entry, then we’ve done our job.”
