Andy Harrison | Head, EU Exit: Business Stakeholder Engagement at BEIS

Andy leads the EU Exit: Business Engagement and Intelligence team within the Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, driving forward engagement with business and especially small businesses, ensuring businesses are aware of the changes they may need to make, as the UK leaves the European Union. By gathering intelligence from businesses -  influencing across government, to ensure that the voice of business is heard.  

Andy’s talk will cover:

- Identify areas businesses may want to take action on before we leave the EU
- Respond to businesses questions and gather feedback
 

Aaseem Mulji | Founder of MallXpert

Aaseem Mulji is the founder of MallXpert Ltd and, until June 2016, was the Head of Retail Assets at Sky Plc. MallXpert focuses on providing customers with a low-cost, high impact retail opportunity and presence by disrupting the foot flow in shopping centres with minimal marketing effort. 

Over the last ten years, Aseem has built up a £20m+ in-mall and outdoor retail business from a start-up to the largest in-mall retailer in Europe. He has spent 25 incredible years so far in either FTSE100 or Fortune 500 companies across retail, technology, banking, energy and entertainment industries to cement his experience. 

Aaseem will be hosting a roundtable discussion at the Franchisee Networking Lunch, sharing different perspectives into key going-ons within the retail space for franchisees. It will follow with insights into the current trends and where he thinks things are heading.
