It's been an excellent show for leads and interest. We should have close to 100 high quality leads and are optimistic that several will become franchisees with us in the near future.
Paul Clegg, Recruitment manager, Mac Tools
Last year was the best ever London event; this year has been even better - it's been brilliant! We've been busy every minute of the day so far, dealing with many good quality enquiries.
Garth Allison, Managing Director, Fastsigns
We've not only had lots of serious enquiries from the UK but also enquiries from Morocco, Kazakhstan, Spain, Finland and Malaysia. We're very pleased with the number and quality of leads we shall have to follow-up.
Andy Taylor, Business Development Manager, Leisure Leagues
The show has been well marketed to the public, and this has helped to produce a very high number of good quality visitors. We seem to have more good leads than ever before.
Our seminars have been standing room only on both days and they have brought many good people to the stand.
Laurence Knott, Head of Marketing, Auditel
It's been extremely busy and we acquired as many good leads in the first day as we did in two days last year. Friday was probably the busiest day we've ever had at this event. There are plenty of serious potential buyers around.
Clive Smith, Managing Director, 0800 Handyman
We were ridiculously busy on Saturday, rushed off our feet, with visitors from all over the world including Australia and Kuwait. We're very pleased with the enquiries we have from the two days.
Andrew Wylie, UK Franchise manager, Skidproof
Considering we are a high level investment franchise, we have been pleasantly surprised that we have been kept busy meeting people from all over the world who are both seriously interested and appear to be financially equipped to suit our franchise.
Martyn Lincoln, General manager, Gautier
It's been very good with good quality applicants. We've been very busy and are pleased with the numbers - we've exceeded our previous total of enquiries.
Nick Pye, Joint Managing Director, MOT2U
We've been continually busy all day with lots of potential franchisees. Many of them are seriously interested in what we have to offer.
Jill Willis, Director, Taste UK
The show is well-organised. Good numbers of enthusiastic, genuine buyers have made this a very productive show and we are optimistic about turning some of them into franchisees.
Cathy Gillard, Managing Director, Laptop Learning
It's been very good and we were impressed by the quality and quantity of visitors. We expect to sign some as franchisees very soon.
Gary Mardlin, Director, Brampton Pies
The show's been great. We've had leads we didn't expect and a blend of local and international interest. We'll be looking at exhibiting here again to build our brand and generate more leads.
Ketan Patel, Regional Franchise Director, UK, Texas Chicken
We exhibited at the National Franchise Exhibition in Birmingham last year as a ‘test show' and it generated 34 leads for us which was a great result.
The London exhibition has also been a good experience for us. It's definitely been busy - I literally spoke to people from 10am to 5pm - I did not stop. There was a pretty good quality of visitors. We have 18 top quality leads to follow-up so far.
The range of visitors has been diverse with people from all backgrounds, including the telecommunications industry, which is what our business is all about.
John Pellew, CEO, Telcoinabox
This is by far the most professional and quality franchise event I've ever seen and participated in. We had 131 enquiries over the two days and we still have our follow-ups to go. I anticipate this will be our best show ever - with the sheer quality of attendees, we hope to beat the eight franchises we sold at the NEC in October last year. We're confirmed to exhibit again at both Manchester and Birmingham.
Anthony Bray, Architectural Services
We had a good show. Our focus is on attracting quality franchisees to the business - we are looking for a small number of talented individuals to join our system, as part of our long-term plans to franchise more of our restaurants.
We had excellent feedback from our stand, as attendees had a chance to meet with both company staff and existing franchisees. Becoming a McDonald's franchisee is about having the right approach, we look for candidates that are hard working and have a hands-on approach to running a customer-orientated business.
Derek Rogers, Head of Franchising for McDonald's UK
It's been another good exhibition for us, and Friday, in particular, produced really good quality visitors who had done their homework and were asking the right questions. I think we'll sign at least two franchisees and investment partners from this, and will exhibit again in October.
Sarah Walker, Platinum Property Partners
It's certainly been busy - the busiest show for a while. I did a presentation and it was packed.
Roy Gover, Consultant to Reeds Rains
Visitors to the gas-elec stand were keen to learn more about the franchise and there was genuine, quality interest. Both days produced leads that we will be following up on in the weeks following the exhibition. There was an cross-section of individuals interested in the franchise, from IT consultants and building contractors, to fibre-optic installers and self-employed electricians - it appears that the gas-elec offering gives them the opportunity to work for themselves, but with the backing of a franchisor that has had 14 years of experience in franchising.
Carol Otway, Franchise Director, gas-elec
