Ovenclean changes lifestyle for franchisees

When Clare and Clive Pearson discovered they were expecting twins nine years ago they decided their demanding career-focused lifestyles had to change.
What they needed was something that gave them more time at home with the children and would not demand late evenings and working weekends.
"When we spotted the Ovenclean opportunity, we knew it was for us," explained Mrs Pearson.
"I would be able to handle bookings and paperwork at home, while Clive would be out at the ‘sharp end' cleaning ovens and building the business," she said.
Since then the business has grown to a stage where the couple are operating three vehicles and employing two people, and have establlished a huge customer database. Their long term plans include expanding the business further, enabling Mr Pearson to take on more of management role, although in the meantime he says he is thoroughly enjoying working hands on.
He said: "It's been perfect for us. We have a stress-free, successful business, and a work/life balance that allows us to put our family at the centre of our lives."
