Local business is standing firm against recession


 

Leeds based business FASTSIGNS®  has just invested in a top of the range, eco-friendly, flat bed printer, worth £100k, to make the business more efficient by speeding up production and increasing capacity.

 

Chris Simpson, Co-owner of FASTSIGNS Leeds said: “Although all the news is doom and gloom we refuse to give in to the recession. We are investing in this printer to grow the business and to provide our customers with an even faster service and exciting new products”

 

The state of the art, £100k printer allows Chris and his son Andy Simpson, owners of the signage and graphics business on York Road, to print near photographic quality images directly onto a wide range of rigid and flexible materials, including glass, ceramics, wood, card, metals and plastics.

Victoria Road makes way for major delivery to local firm


 

On Tuesday 14 May, traffic on Victoria Road in Chelmsford will be halted whilst a large piece of printing equipment worth £100k is delivered to FASTSIGNS® Chelmsford.

 

The signage and graphics company, has invested in an eco-friendly flat bed printer which will make the business more efficient by speeding up production and increasing capacity. The machine prints near photographic quality images onto a wide range of rigid and flexible materials, including glass, ceramics, wood, metals and plastics.

 

Jenny Boreham, Owner of FASTSIGNS in Chelmsford said: “This printer will enable us to provide our customers with a faster service, using eco friendly inks, which will allow us to enter new markets and further increase our sales.”

 

Jenny continued: “Making this investment in new equipment demonstrates our confidence and continued growth, despite the economic climate. We have completed several large signage projects in Docklands and I believe this growth will continue. We are putting our belief in Essex and East London’s involvement in the Olympics.”
